Data collected
Account: email, date of birth (to check you are an adult; only your age is shown). Profile: first name, username, gender, photo, town, level, playing style, availability, favourite club. Activity: likes, messages, matches, ratings, ads, followed tournaments, badges. Technical: sign-in logs, notification subscriptions.
Your location
Only your town is stored, snapped to a grid: your exact position is never stored, and distances shown to other players are rounded.
FFT licence and ranking
If you enter your FFT licence number and last name, we only use them to read your public ranking each week on 1padel.fr and show it on your PPC. They stay private; you can delete them at any time from your profile.
Why, and on what basis
To suggest partners, matches and tournaments, and let you chat and be rated (performance of the service you request); to ensure safety and moderation (legitimate interest); to process your orders and keep accounts (legal obligation); to send you news only if you agreed (consent, which you can withdraw in your settings).
Cookies
EsoPadel only uses necessary cookies: sign-in session, cart, chosen language and theme. No advertising, no audience measurement, no third-party trackers: so no consent is requested.
Recipients
Other players see your public profile (never your email or date of birth). Our technical providers, bound by confidentiality: hosting by Hetzner (Germany, European Union), email delivery by Brevo (France). The club where you book a court receives your name and booking, for check-in and on-site payment. The club can report a no-show: the number of no-shows reported over twelve months is visible to the clubs where you book, and any payment at booking goes directly to the club’s Stripe account. Your data is never sold or rented.
Retention periods
Inactive account: notice at 23 months, deletion at 24 months. Messages: lifetime of the account. Notifications: 60 days after being read, 180 days at most. Reports and moderation actions: 12 months after closure. Orders and invoices: 10 years (accounting obligation). Technical logs: 12 months.
Your rights
You can access, correct and download your data and delete your account yourself, from your settings (“Download my data”, “Delete my account”). To object to or restrict processing, write to contact@esopadel.com. You can also contact the CNIL (cnil.fr) or the data protection authority of your country.
Minors
EsoPadel is for people aged 18 and over. Sign-ups from younger people are refused, without keeping any data.
