What is the PPC?

Your PPC (PadelPlayerCard) is your padel player card: your photo, your side, your hand, your club, six stats and your PScore (PadelScore), a 0–99 rating of your real level. It starts from what you declare, then adjusts to the ratings of the players you play with.

Meet Hugo, a fictional player. When he signs up, he rates himself level 5: his PScore starts at 75. After ten matches, his partners praise his defence and volleys, his serve a little less. His PScore settles at 78, his card goes Gold, and his stats show his strengths: DEF 84, VOL 81, SRV 69.

The card's six stats

ATT · Attack
Your ability to finish the point: smash and víbora, rated by your partners.
DEF · Defence
What you send back when you're attacked: defence, off-the-glass and lob.
VOL · Volley
Your net game: forehand and backhand volleys, bandeja.
TEC · Technique
Touch shots: chiquita and bajada.
SRV · Serve
The quality of your serve, which starts every point.
BHV · Behaviour
The partner you are: your partners' overall rating and their fair-play mentions (punctual, good mood, good spirit…).

The web of rated shots

On your profile, a web shows the rating of each of your shots, from 0 to 10. Dotted: your self-assessed level; in colour: your partners' ratings. Where the colour goes beyond the dotted line, you play better than you said. Here's Hugo's.

Badges: every achievement counts

Every achievement on court unlocks a badge, from common to legendary, and XP. For example: “First title” for your first tournament won, “Streak of 4” for four weeks in a row on court, “Bandeja king” when your partners rate your bandeja 8/10 or more. Choose your three favourite badges: they appear in large on your PPC.

It's fun

Your PPC grows with you: new tier, new stats, a card to show off and share. Every match counts.

Your real level

The level we give ourselves is often approximate. The PScore relies on your partners' ratings, shot by shot: bandeja, víbora, volleys, defence, serve…

Partners who match you

Before suggesting a match, you see each player's PScore and strengths: no more lopsided matches, no more surprises.

Objective and verifiable

A single rating doesn't decide everything: the calculation smooths out extremes, gives more weight to recent ratings and experienced players, and spots favour ratings. Anyone can check a player's real level on their PPC.

How it's calculated

Fewer than 3 ratings: your self-assessed level. From 3 to 10: a blend, leaning more and more on your partners. Beyond that: mostly their ratings. Tiers go from Bronze to Legend.
