How to find a padel partner at your level
Padel is played two against two: no partner, no match. Here is how to find players at your level near you, for a friendly game or a tournament.
Know your level before you search
A good partner is first a player close to your level: rallies last longer and everyone improves. Place yourself on the 1 (beginner) to 8 (expert) scale; on EsoPadel, your level is then adjusted by the players you play with, after every match.
Search near you
The easiest way is to play near home or near your club. On EsoPadel, the Players page shows nearby players with their level, preferred side (left or right) and availability. Like the ones who suit you: if it’s mutual, the chat opens.
Choose a complementary partner
In padel, a right-side and a left-side player complement each other: the left-side player, often more attacking, takes smashes and central balls; the right-side player builds the point. Look for a partner whose side completes yours, with a compatible playing style.
Go through your club
Clubs organise matches, social evenings and internal tournaments: the best way to meet regular players. Choose your favourite club on EsoPadel to be notified when a match needs a player or an event is posted.
For a tournament
For an official tournament you need a licensed partner whose level fits the category (P25, P100…). On EsoPadel, post an ad on the tournament page: compatible players in your area see it and can reply.
